Indications

Calcium deficiency conditions, eg. Rickets, calcium supplementation when daily diet can not be ensured sufficiently. Cases of increased calcium demand such as growing children, pregnancy and lactation, rehabilitation after long immobilization periods due to fractures. Calcium supplementation in management of osteoporosis due to various causes, bone mineral loss in elderly, prevention of pre- and postmenopausal or cortisteroid-induced bone demineralization.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug; Hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria; Decalcifying tumors; Osteoporosis due to prolonged immobilization; Heart and kidney failure

Compositon/Ingredients

Calcium glubionate 1469,30mg Calcium lactobionate 319,91mg

Dosage and administration

Children: 1-2 ampoules daily, taken in the morning and at mid-day.

Precaution

For patients with mild hypercalciuria and mild to moderate renal impairment or with a history of urinary calculi, monitoring of urinary excretion of calcium is required.
