Indications

• Indicated for the treatment of early stages of hair loss (endogenous alopecia) in men.
• Stabilizes the process of androgenetic alopecia in men 18-41 years old. Its effectiveness for temporary hair loss or hair loss has not been determined.

Contraindications

• Known hypersensitivity to any of the active substance or excipients.

• Pregnancy and paediatric.

Dosage and administration

The recommended dosage for Finasteride is straightforward: 1 tablet daily. You have the flexibility to take it with or without food. It's a 1mg tablet taken once a day.

Remember, consistent usage is essential for the treatment's effectiveness.

Precaution

• If hair loss appears patchy, irregular, or involves clumps, or if there's scalp inflammation, see a GP or dermatologist.
• If hair loss has occurred rapidly or with other concerning symptoms (like unexplained weight loss, fevers, persistent diarrhea, or extreme fatigue), consult your GP.
• When taking Finasteride 1mg, blood tests for prostate cancer (PSA) can yield misleading results, so inform your doctor if you're having a PSA test.
• If you stop treatment, the beneficial effects start reversing after six months and return to the baseline by 9 to 12 months.
• Pregnant women should avoid contact with Finasteride as it can affect fetal sex organ development. Tablets are film-coated, and women should not handle crushed or broken tablets.
