Glotizin 10mg (10 blisters x 10 tablets/box)

Indications

The relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis; symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and paediatric patients 12 years and older.

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to any of the active substance or excipients.

Patients with severe renal impairment with a creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min.

Compositon/Ingredients

Dosage and administration

Adults and adolescents 12 years and above: 1 tablet once daily.

Patients with mild renal impairment (creatinine clearance is 50 – 79 ml/min): 1 tablet once daily.

Unsuitable for children under 12 years, hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 50 ml/min).

Precaution

• Cetirizine may increase the risk of urinary retention.
• Epileptic patients and patients at risk of convulsions is precaution.
• Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicinal product.
• Allergy skin tests are inhibited by antihistamines is required before performing them.
• Precaution is recommended if alcohol is taken concomitantly.
• Caution should be exercised when prescribing cetirizine to pregnant women and lactating women.
• Patients should be aware of how they react to drug before driving or operating machinery. They should not use exceed the recommended dose and should refrain from driving, engaging in potentially hazardous activities or operating machinery.
