Mebendazol 500mg MKP (1 tablets/box)

Indications

In treatment of single or mixed intestinal nematode infection, such as enterobiasis, ancylostomiasis and necatoriasis, ascariasis and trichuriasis.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to Mebendazole.
- Patients with liver diseases.

Compositon/Ingredients

Dosage and administration

- Adults and children over 2 years: 1 tablet given in a single administration.
- Every 4 – 6 months, the treatment should be repeated to prevent reinfections of helminths.

Precaution

- Patients receiving more prolonged and higher than recommended dose of Mebendazole, such as those with hydatid disease, should be supervised closely with blood counts and liver function being monitored.
- Advise the patients on hygiene and sanitation regime to prevent reinfection and effective vector control.

Storage

Store at temperature below 30°C, protect from light.
