Nifedipin T20 retard (10 blisters x 10 tablets/box)

Indications

The prophylaxis of angina, if especially element vasospastic as Prinzmetal’s angina. The treatment of hypertension.

Contraindications

Cardiogenic shock. Clinically significant aortic stenosis. Myocardial infraction in the previous one month. Acute attack in chronic stable angina, in unstable angina. Porphyria.

Compositon/Ingredients

Dosage and administration

Angina prophylaxis: 1 tablet twice daily. Hypertension: 1 tablet twice daily.

Precaution

Withdraw of ischaemic pain occurs or existing pain worsens shortly after initiating treatment, stop using this drug. Patients with heart failure or significantly impaired left ventricular function. Reduce dose in hepatic impairment, diabetes mellitus. Grapefruit juice should be avoided by patients on nifedipine. Nifedipine may inhibit labour. Do not use for pregnant women unless necessary. A decision should be made to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug. Taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother. Patients should be aware of how they react to drug before driving or operating machinery.
