Compositon/Ingredients: Tetracosactide

Tetracosactide is a compound identical with the first 24 amino acids of ACTH. It possesses the adrenocortical stimulatory actions of ACTH, and causes an immediate and maximal adrenal response. Its use has superseded the old exogenous ACTH stimulation test in the investigation of patients with suspected adrenocortical insufficiency.
